The meat combo easily feeds three hungry people and is a great mix of fresh and cooked veggies, spice-filled sauces, and delicious chicken, beef, and lamb. We normally do takeout (easy to do over the phone and food is always ready on time), but we decided to dine in this time and enjoyed it. The staff were welcoming and attentive, the restaurant was clean, and the food came out pretty quick. We were one of two tables dining in, and we’d love to see some more people eating here next time. “ There is not a single thing on the menu that I've tried that I can't recommend. Everything is so incredibly good it still blows my mind every time. Amazing portions for a great price and such comforting satisfying food. You can eat until you're stuffed and never feel sick- it's filling and hearty but never greasy and doesn't leave you feeling draggy afterwards. The service might feel slow or underwhelming for those who like very fast and involved service, but I like the relaxed dining pace. I never feel rushed or like the staff is waiting for us to hurry up so they can seat a new guest as fast as possible, so it's a very comfortable place to have a long chatty dinner and enjoy your food at your own pace. Adey Abeba always has such a familial atmosphere and food like a warm hug, it's one of my top repeat spots as someone who always prefers trying new places over frequenting the same restaurants. ”
